Dear Me,
Why? Why Not?
Dear Me,
Why? Why Not?
Dear Me,
“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.”
– Søren Kierkegaard
Dear Me,
“If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on somebody else’s.”
– Carl Jung
Dear Me,
“Learning how to empower yourself. Part of that is standing up to yourself. You got to stand up inside yourself sometimes and say “Shut Up!”
Dear Me,
“And then the day came,
-Anaïs Nin
when the risk
to remain tight
in a bud
was more painful
than the risk
it took
to blossom.”
Dear Me,
People are culturally, socially, and emotionally involved with food, and there is nothing wrong with that. Of course, we would form an emotional connection with something we engage with multiple times every day, that is so closely associated with social bonding, and that is so physiologically important for life.

Dear Me,

Dear Me,
Remember that there is only one important time and that is now. The present moment is the only time over which we have dominion.
—Thich Nhat Hanh
Dear Me,
Devotion and determination to our pursuits builds momentum. And as our momentum builds, fewer obstacles stand in our way and slow us down. Naturally, as few obstacles slow us down, they cease to be seen as obstacles as all. The resistance to our goal is less and thus feels more sure. Essentially, nothing then stands in our way. It’s not that obstacles aren’t there. It’s that our momentum reduces them to something less than they are. But even this is relative. For our momentum has actually raised us to something more.
